Accounts/Administrative Assistant

SmartOffice is seeking applications for an Accounts Administrative Assistant

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts/Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the financial and administrative functions of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Maxio, and Parolla to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
  • Manage office operations, including answering phones, handling correspondence, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, both internally and externally.
  • Oversee expenses management, including tracking and reconciling business expenditures.
  • Support HR functions, including maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in accounts or administrative roles is essential.
  • Professional qualification in bookkeeping or relevant certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Maxio, and Parolla is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

The Package:

  • Salary of €28,000 per annum.
  • This is a full-time position based in Cork, Ireland.
  • Annual Leave entitlement of 21 Days per year.
